In order for any REALTOR to be found on the Internet, the REALTOR must do an awful lot of work maintaining their website, so that the Search Engines, such as Google, MSN and Yahoo will find their site, index it and then appropriately place it in the Search engine relevant to the terms it is searched for. This can be a full time job -and a very expensive one if hired out - just do a search for SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION and you will see just how expensive a project it can be. One of the many ways that any website is ranked it through a process known as 'linking" - which simply means how many other quality sites have a link on their site to your site. Often links are exchanged and this type of link is called a 'reciprocal link". So that you can find me in the search engines and receive the quality service that I offer my clients, I am always looking to exchange links with other quality websites belonging to REALTORS from outside of my market area. Now please understand that I know very few of the REALTORS that these links connect to. I only solicit sites to exchange links with that I first preview and consider to represent what I believe to be a professional REALTOR. Likewise, when I receive a solicitation from another REALTOR to exchange links I first preview their site before posting their link to mine. So, there is no guarantee as to who these REALTORS are, but I feel comfortable enough to include their presence on my personal website.
